Director of Interior Design – Real Estate & Asset Development

About the role

The Director of Interior Design will lead the creation and implementation of interior design concepts for Al‑Futtaim Real Estate projects, overseeing the process from early design stages through construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept to completion, managing multiple phases and ensuring coherent design processes.
• Develop and maintain interior design brand standards, guidelines, and technical specifications for FF&E and OS&E.
• Assess market trends, define requirements, and select design partners while controlling design costs.
• Conduct on‑site observations during construction to verify compliance with design intent.
• Represent Al‑Futtaim Real Estate in meetings on design proposals, contracts, and mock‑ups, and monitor departmental KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in high‑end residential or hospitality projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
