Director of Learning & Development

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Director of Learning & Development to lead the training function within our hotel. The role focuses on fostering a service‑oriented culture, delivering high‑quality training, and supporting the growth of all colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current and future training and development needs across the hotel.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate professional training programs and workshops.
• Conduct a Colleague Development Needs analysis and prepare an Annual Learning & Development plan with budget.
• Provide internal consulting and off‑job training sessions to create measurable performance solutions.
• Monitor guest feedback and communicate insights to management and staff.
• Assist in selecting departmental trainers and develop them through ongoing workshops and meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of managerial experience in a professional training environment.
• Strong expertise in instructional methods, needs analysis, learning theory, and training evaluation.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient computer literacy.
