Director of Operations

About the role

ember Lifestyle is looking for an accomplished Director of Operations to lead and integrate the company’s internal operational framework. This senior position will ensure excellence, efficiency, and consistency across all functions while supporting the CEO’s day‑to‑day workload.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and continuously improve company‑wide operational workflows, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and accountability.
• Establish robust SOPs, governance structures, and approval mechanisms aligned with ember’s brand and scale.
• Monitor financial, legal, HR, and administrative processes for compliance and performance.
• Implement internal controls, reporting mechanisms, and documentation discipline.
• Support leadership in recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and performance management.
• Manage contractual, regulatory, and compliance processes with internal and external advisors.
• Identify operational and commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Enable business development initiatives through operational planning, pricing structures, and execution readiness.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in senior operations, general management, or similar leadership roles.
• Proven ability to design and govern operational frameworks in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on outcomes, risk management, and continuous improvement.
