Director of Payments Products

About the role

As Director of Payments Products you will define and execute the unified product vision, portfolio strategy and market positioning for e& money’s payments offerings. The role drives growth by delivering innovative, scalable and compliant financial products while leading international expansion and localisation.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end product strategy for consumer and merchant payments, aligning with group priorities and growth objectives.
• Execute the Group Fintech Center of Excellence strategy, creating unified product frameworks, reusable modules and consistent go‑to‑market models.
• Lead product‑aligned squads across App, CVM, Payments and Embedded Finance to deliver modular, high‑performing solutions.
• Champion a fintech‑as‑a‑service model by developing APIs, SDKs and embedded capabilities for internal and external partners.
• Drive international rollout, adapting product design, pricing and go‑to‑market strategies to local regulatory and cultural requirements.
• Define and track KPIs such as app downloads, active users, transaction volumes, revenue and EBITDA, using user research and VOC insights to refine product‑market fit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management or a related field.
• 12+ years of financial product development or leadership experience in fintech, financial services, banks or technology domains.
• 8‑10 years of experience launching and scaling consumer and business fintech products across multiple verticals (cards, wallets, lending, insurance, B2B).
