Director of Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE)

About the role

The Director will lead the Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) portfolio, shaping strategy, developing programmes and ensuring alignment with market demand and university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, development and execution of Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) programmes aligned with market demand and university policies.
• Oversee departmental performance through KPIs, budget allocation and financial monitoring to ensure alignment with Zayed University’s strategic objectives.
• Drive business development initiatives to expand B2B and B2C training services, forge partnerships with industry, government and community stakeholders, and generate revenue.
• Manage the design, delivery and quality assurance of short courses, certifications and hybrid learning models, coordinating with external subject‑matter experts.
• Maintain a centralized training catalogue and digital infrastructure, including LMS platforms, to provide seamless access to current and upcoming offerings.
• Supervise people management functions, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management and succession planning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in a managerial role.
• Preferred certification in a related field.
