Director of Public Policy – MENA

About the role

Roblox is seeking a Director of Public Policy for the MENA region to develop and implement engagement strategies with key policymakers, stakeholders, and opinion leaders. Based in Dubai, this senior role reports to the Head of Public Policy, Europe and MENA and plays a critical part in shaping Roblox’s future in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and build relationships with regional policymakers and political figures.
• Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in MENA.
• Develop and execute policy strategies around gaming, child safety, AI, privacy, and consumer protection.
• Advise internal stakeholders on policy matters and produce briefing papers and consultation responses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years experience working with policymakers and stakeholders in MENA.
• Deep knowledge of MENA policymaking and public opinion processes.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, and project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
