Director of Revenue

About the role

An Accor hotel in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a strategic Director of Revenue to lead its revenue optimization initiatives. The role drives profitability across all revenue streams by developing and implementing revenue management strategies, partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to maximize financial performance while keeping the focus on exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute revenue management strategies covering rooms, food and beverage, spa and ancillary services
• Analyze demand patterns, market trends and competitive positioning to set pricing and yield strategies
• Oversee pricing, promotions and inventory across booking channels, aligned with brand guidelines
• Direct channel distribution across OTAs, corporate travel organizations and direct booking channels
• Create financial forecasts and annual budgets, and chair revenue management meetings
• Own revenue management systems, PMS and rate shopping tools, and manage relationships with distribution partners and competitors
• Work with marketing on digital initiatives, mentor revenue management talent and report to senior stakeholders

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive revenue management experience, including at least 2 years in a director-level or equivalent role
• Extensive experience in 4- or 5-star hotels with complex operations and multiple revenue outlets
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field
• Preferred: MBA or hospitality management, revenue management certification, luxury resort experience, knowledge of the UAE hospitality market

Required skills

• Revenue management systems such as Ideas G3 RMS, Opera PMS, Passkey, Delphi or Opera Sales and Catering
• Data analysis tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• P&L management, budgeting and financial forecasting
• Channel distribution management and pricing/yield strategy
