Director of Sales – Hotel

About the role

Join the opening team of Radisson Hotel Fujairah as the Director of Sales. You will shape the sales strategy for a brand‑new hotel, build key accounts and drive revenue across corporate, leisure, groups and Meetings & Events segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with the hotel’s commercial objectives.
• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to meet individual and hotel revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, travel trade, government and other key market segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, DMCs, travel partners and government entities.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations and Operations to maximise business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities.
• Play an active role in establishing the hotel’s commercial presence during the pre‑opening phase.

Required profile

• Proven senior hotel sales experience (Director, Assistant Director or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the UAE hospitality market and key business segments.
• Established network of corporate, travel trade and industry contacts.
• Demonstrated business development, negotiation and account‑management capabilities.
• Commercially driven with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of hotel revenue performance.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• UAE and pre‑opening hotel experience highly desirable.
