Director of Strategy & Delivery - Digital Health

About the role

The Director of Strategy & Delivery (Digital Health) is a senior leadership position in Abu Dhabi, UAE, responsible for shaping Digital Health strategy and ensuring the successful execution of the organization's transformation portfolio. The role links strategic planning with delivery execution, overseeing portfolio governance, enterprise PMO functions, transformation initiatives and special projects, and driving alignment between leadership priorities, strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, refinement and execution of the Digital Health strategy and transformation roadmap, translating priorities into actionable programmes and advising executive leadership on opportunities, risks, investments and prioritisation.
• Establish and lead a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) across Digital Health, including governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, reporting standards and performance management processes.
• Oversee portfolio planning, prioritisation, resource allocation, budgeting and delivery assurance, and run executive governance forums, steering committees and portfolio reviews.
• Turn strategic commitments into structured programmes with business cases, implementation plans, milestones and measurable outcomes, coordinating across Digital Health, Data & AI, Digital Products, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and other workstreams.
• Maintain a transparent view of portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, budgets and benefits realisation, set KPIs and reporting mechanisms, and intervene proactively on delivery risks.
• Lead the incubation and execution of high-priority strategic initiatives, support concept development, business cases, partner engagement and operational transition, and assess opportunities in digital health, data analytics, artificial intelligence and healthcare innovation.
