Director of Technical Implementation, EMEA

About the role

InterSystems is looking for a Director of Technical Implementation, EMEA, based in Dubai. The role leads and transforms the regional technical delivery organization into a scalable, high-performing and standardized function, centralizing technical leadership across countries including UKI, ME, South Africa, Italy, France and DACH. It unifies the operating model so that InterSystems EHR and HealthShare solutions are delivered consistently, with strong governance and measurable results. The position also embeds AI-driven methodologies, including the evolution of ARIES, into daily delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and unify all Technical Implementation teams across EMEA under a single functional structure, defining and enforcing best practices, governance and quality frameworks.
• Drive cross-country collaboration and resource optimization, and own regional capacity planning, forecasting and utilization using data and AI-driven insights.
• Oversee partner strategy and execution, including onboarding, performance management and management alignment.
• Embed and scale the AI-powered ARIES methodology across all technical delivery activities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for delivery quality, efficiency, resource utilization and partner performance.
• Support country Professional Services Directors in achieving project targets while keeping strong technical oversight.
• Lead continuous improvement, including reusable assets, automation and standardization of deliverables.
• Act as a senior stakeholder in customer engagements and support critical projects.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technical delivery, implementation or professional services leadership.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, complex, multi-country implementation programs.
• Strong background in healthcare IT or enterprise software implementation environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation and drive standardization.
• Experience working with partners and external delivery ecosystems; international travel of about 60% of the time.
• Relevant university technical degree and proficiency in English.
