Director of Volunteer Management & Community Engagement

About the role

We are looking for a UAE National leader to drive volunteerism, social cohesion and community engagement across the nation. The role will shape strategy, build partnerships and deliver programmes that empower communities and create lasting social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies and initiatives for volunteer management, social cohesion and community engagement.
• Create frameworks and programmes that encourage active community participation and a strong culture of volunteering.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with government bodies, private sector, NGOs and community stakeholders.
• Design and deliver impactful community initiatives aligned with organisational and national priorities.
• Oversee volunteer engagement, development and recognition programmes.
• Monitor programme performance and social impact through KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
• Lead, develop and manage high‑performing teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Significant leadership experience in volunteer management, community engagement, CSR or related fields.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing large‑scale community‑focused strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership‑building capabilities.
• Excellent strategic thinking, leadership and communication skills.
