Director of Wellness – Spa Management

About the role

Responsible for managing and supervising all areas of the spa, including programs, services, operating hours, facilities and staff. Coordinates delivery of salon, skin‑care, fitness, wellness, massage, reservations, reception and locker‑room services. As department head, leads the management team and hourly employees to enhance guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage spa operations, budgets, vendor selection and retail product purchasing.
• Develop and execute spa sales and marketing strategies, including group services, promotions and co‑op marketing.
• Oversee revenue management, payroll, controllable expenses and budget performance.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment.
• Lead human‑resources activities such as recruitment, orientation, performance appraisal and employee engagement.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience in spa, guest services, front desk, sales or marketing.
