Director - PMO Setup and Governance Lead

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Director to lead the establishment and governance of a Project Management Office (PMO) for a major governmental entity. The role involves defining the PMO model, vision, and operating framework to support current and future project portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Define the PMO model and implementation roadmap based on client needs and maturity.
• Establish PMO vision, mandate, organizational structure, and operating model.
• Standardize project management methodologies, procedures, templates, and controls.
• Implement integrated planning, cost, risk, change, reporting, and assurance processes.
• Provide executives with reliable performance information and early warnings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 20 years of professional experience, including infrastructure, master planning, and road design management.
• Proven experience establishing or working within a PMO.
• Experience on projects in the Middle East preferred; Arabic language skills preferred.
