Director, Private Banking – CIS

About the role

The Director of Private Banking for the CIS region will lead the development and management of a portfolio of ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNWI) and high‑net‑worth (HNWI) clients across offshore and on‑shore locations. The role focuses on delivering superior sales revenue, assets under management (AUM), and increasing FAB’s market share in the CIS segment while providing tailored investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a client base of HNWI and UHNWI, delivering exceptional service and personalized wealth solutions.
• Identify, segment and target new markets, generating net new business through referrals, contacts and strategic marketing.
• Manage end‑to‑end private banking projects, coordinating with internal teams and other group colleagues.
• Drive AUM growth and revenue by delivering the full private banking trilogy: banking, fiduciary services, and portfolio management.
• Promote FAB’s offshore and on‑shore platforms, including specialized products such as derivatives, esoteric funds, aircraft leases and mezzanine debt.

Required profile

• Proven experience in private banking with a strong track record of “hunting” new clients and “farming” existing relationships.
• Deep understanding of wealth protection structures (trusts, foundations, offshore companies) and sophisticated investment products.
• Ability to meet and exceed AUM and revenue targets for the CIS market.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with a client‑centric mindset.
