Director - Private Banking Front Office

About the role

The Director – Private Banking Front Office will lead the acquisition and relationship management of High‑Net‑Worth (HNW) and Ultra‑High‑Net‑Worth (UHNW) clients across a defined market area. Reporting to senior banking leadership, the role focuses on growing the client base, deepening existing relationships and delivering profitable banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new HNW/UHNW clients through referrals, marketing initiatives and personal networks.
• Provide personalized advisory and cross‑sell a full suite of bank products including investments, term deposits, CASA balances, trade finance, FX trading and share financing.
• Maintain proactive contact with clients to anticipate needs, resolve issues and minimise attrition.
• Collaborate with internal specialists (TCM, Trade Finance, Mortgage, Corporate Finance) to present comprehensive solutions.
• Ensure compliance with AML, fraud prevention and ethical standards while safeguarding the bank’s reputation.

Required profile

• University degree with strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar private banking or wealth management role within the UAE.
• Certification from the Securities & Investment Institute (SII) for investment sales.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship‑building and networking abilities, with cultural sensitivity.
• Extroverted, amiable personality with a proven track record of meeting revenue and portfolio growth targets.
