Director, Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE)

About the role

Zayed University is looking for a Director for its Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) department in Dubai. The role directs PaCE activities, including strategic planning, development and execution of programmes, business development, training catalog oversight and stakeholder engagement, so that they match market demand, client expectations and university policy.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic and financial lead: develop and monitor the department's strategy, track performance against KPIs, allocate the budget and provide consolidated budget input.
• Business development: expand B2B and B2C professional training services, build partnerships with industry, government and community stakeholders, and create tailored proposals.
• Programmes: plan and deliver short courses, certifications and hybrid learning models, coordinate with external subject-matter experts and maintain a centralised training catalog and LMS platforms.
• Compliance and quality: ensure documentation, reporting and quality assurance across training activities, and promote faculty and student participation in entrepreneurial training and business incubation.
• People management: review workforce planning and budgets, set performance objectives, conduct mid-year and year-end reviews, manage succession planning and guide reporting managers.

Required profile

• Master's degree.
• At least 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in a managerial position.
• Certification in a relevant field is preferred.
