Distribution and Reconciliation Specialist

About the role

The Distribution and Reconciliation Specialist will coordinate logistics planning for AbbVie’s Gulf‑Levant affiliate, ensuring accurate forecasting, smooth order flow, and compliance with the Free of Charge (FOC) policy. The role acts as a bridge between distributors, commercial teams, and global supply partners to maintain a responsive supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end FOC policy process, from application to execution and reconciliation.
• Monitor distributors’ sales and stock reports, validating figures with Key Account Managers.
• Ensure timely submission of proof of delivery for each transaction.
• Maintain alignment and compliance with distributors and commercial teams throughout the process.
• Establish systematic communication protocols to improve data exchange and issue resolution with distributors.
• Record orders in the internal tracker and follow up on delivery status with global supply teams in the Netherlands and the US.
• Generate and share order status reports with management, commercial teams, and distributors.
• Guarantee that all logistics activities meet regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining accurate shipment and customs documentation.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities to enhance logistics efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar logistics or supply‑chain role within FMCG or consumer‑goods environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synchronize demand forecasting and logistics processes.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with cross‑functional teams across regions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.
