Distribution Sales Leader

About the role

The Distribution Sales Leader will drive partnership and business growth with distributors across the assigned geography. Reporting to the Country Leader and working with the Channel Development team, the role focuses on achieving sales targets, profitability and long‑term distributor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy the Distributor Management Process (DMP) and monitor revenue, bookings, backlog and unit volumes for completes and parts against regional and distributor targets.
• Develop financial and legal acumen for the distribution business, including contract, P&L and organizational structure understanding.
• Implement containment and risk‑mitigation actions to enable distributors to meet their targets.
• Evaluate distributor sales pipelines, generate demand, and align inventory levels with sales forecasts.
• Maintain and update distributor installed‑base data and assess parts consumption based on that base.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E. Engineering degree.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience in low‑pressure business and knowledge of relevant products.
• Capability to perform basic financial analysis.
• Project management skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of PD Blower, Screw blower, Turbo and liquid‑ring vacuum pumps.
• Basic financial analysis.
