Document Controller - Construction (Tagalog Speaker)

About the role

Al Marwan Group, founded in 1978 and active in construction, heavy machinery, oil and gas, real estate, development and hospitality across the GCC, is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller in Sharjah. The role manages, maintains and controls project documentation so that all records are properly filed, updated, distributed and accessible to the relevant departments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organize project documents, drawings, reports, correspondence and technical records.
• Ensure proper document numbering, filing, tracking and version control.
• Manage the submission, receipt and distribution of documents to departments and project teams.
• Maintain document registers and trackers, keeping them accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, consultants and subcontractors on document submissions.
• Store documents securely and in line with company procedures.
• Assist in preparing reports and retrieve documents when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of document control procedures, filing systems and document tracking.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, technical documents and document registers.
• Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills, and the ability to handle multiple documents and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Document control and version control.
