Document Controller

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Document Controller to support a major infrastructure project in the Al Dhafrah region of Abu Dhabi. You will manage the flow of project documentation, ensuring that all records are accurate, up‑to‑date, and readily accessible for engineering, construction, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate document flow between project operations, engineering, construction, and support teams.
• Manage document control processes using electronic document management systems (EDMS) and ensure compliance with project procedures.
• Register, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents; maintain databases, logs, and transmittals.
• Enter data and generate status reports using MS Office and project‑specific systems.
• Scan and archive documents for electronic storage and maintain structured filing and retrieval systems.
• Maintain document distribution schedules to meet project timelines and client requirements.
• Provide general administrative support such as filing, typing, and telephone assistance as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of document control experience in an engineering design, consulting, or project environment.
• Fluent in Arabic with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ACONEX and/or Procore.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Competent with Microsoft Windows operating system and standard computer/keyboard operations.
