Document Controller – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

Penspen is looking for an experienced PMC Document Controller to support major ADNOC oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for managing project documentation, ensuring robust document‑control processes and maintaining accurate records in line with ADNOC and project‑specific requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control all project documentation, including engineering, vendor and multidisciplinary deliverables.
• Ensure document status tracking, revision control, numbering and MDR transmittals are correctly applied.
• Maintain accurate records in the EDMS and support workflow management for ADNOC/EPC contractor deliverables.
• Coordinate with client, PMC, EPC contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure timely document exchange.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of document‑control experience in oil & gas, preferably on ADNOC projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC/EPC contractor document workflows, engineering deliverables (P&IDs, drawings, specifications, calculations, datasheets, reports).
• Excellent attention to detail, document traceability and follow‑up skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
