Document Controller – Real Estate & Asset Development

About the role

The Document Controller will support Al-Futtaim’s Real Estate and Asset Development projects by overseeing all project documentation, correspondence and administrative coordination. The role ensures that records are accurately maintained, distributed promptly and archived securely throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage the project document control system using Aconex.
• Register, track, distribute and archive incoming and outgoing correspondence, drawings, reports, RFIs, submittals and contractual documents.
• Maintain accurate document logs, enforce version control and ensure timely circulation to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor submission workflows and enforce compliance with approved document control procedures.
• Set up and maintain project workflows, distribution matrices and access permissions within Aconex.
• Ensure consultants and contractors follow document submission protocols.
• Generate reports on document status, overdue submissions and approval timelines.
• Provide basic user support for Aconex users.
• Organise meetings, prepare agendas, coordinate logistics and record and distribute meeting minutes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in document control within real‑estate or construction projects.
• Familiarity with Aconex or similar document management platforms.
