Document Controller (Site)

About the role

The Site Document Controller will manage the creation, distribution, and archiving of project documentation for construction and engineering projects. This role supports project managers, directors, and the Environmental department to ensure all records meet quality standards and are readily accessible.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a library of reference documents and computerized indexes.
• Prepare, type, copy, distribute and file project correspondence, meeting minutes, and transmittals.
• Assist in creating mock‑ups for operations manuals and job data books, including indexing, binding, and assembly.
• Arrange cataloguing, packing, long‑term storage or disposal of engineering documents at project close‑out.
• Generate electronic and hard‑copy reports as required by project managers.
• Maintain data distribution schedules based on client, project, and supplier requirements.
• Handle office administration duties, including furniture and equipment inventories, maintenance requests, and material orders.
• Support the office secretary and collaborate with project administrators and managers to ensure seamless workflow.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of document‑control procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple document sets simultaneously.
