Document Controller – Site

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Document Controller to join our on‑site team in Abu Dhabi. You will manage all project documentation, ensuring it is accurate, up‑to‑date and readily accessible for the construction team and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive document control system for drawings, specifications, permits and correspondence.
• Implement version‑control procedures and distribute the latest documents to all team members.
• Organise, archive and index project records in line with company standards and Abu Dhabi regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams to collect, review and circulate documentation.
• Conduct quality‑assurance checks on incoming and outgoing documents.
• Prepare regular document control reports and status summaries for project management.
• Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies promptly.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Good communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with document control procedures and version‑control systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for document retention in Abu Dhabi.
