Drama Teacher

About the role

American Gulf School is looking for an inspirational Drama Teacher to lead and develop drama classes for its students in Sharjah. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, integrating technology, and fostering a creative learning environment. The successful candidate will be a creative and innovative thinker, hard‑working and dedicated to the school’s standards of academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver drama curriculum and lessons to students.
• Integrate technology into classroom teaching.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree minimum in Drama or Performing Arts (Master’s preferred).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Native‑like English proficiency or IELTS 8+.
• Experience in an American or IB school preferred.
• Demonstrated excellent classroom teaching and pedagogical practices.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
