Driver – Resort Transportation

About the role

The Resort Driver will provide safe and reliable transportation for guests, team members and management at the Desert Islands Resort & Spa, a remote property of Anantara Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi. This full‑time position requires a professional attitude, punctuality and a strong focus on safety while operating company vehicles in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Transport guests, staff and executives to and from the airport, local attractions and internal resort sites according to scheduled timings.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with UAE traffic laws and Anantara’s safety standards.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues and keep vehicles clean and presentable.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, fuel consumption and vehicle usage.
• Assist with ad‑hoc transportation requests such as city trips, staff shuttles and special events.
• Adapt to the remote resort setting and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Good knowledge of UAE road networks and traffic regulations.
• Strong communication, punctuality and safety‑conscious attitude.
• Willingness to live and work on a remote resort location.
