Driver Trainer – Delivery Associate Training

About the role

Amazon is looking for self‑motivated Driver Trainers to mentor Delivery Associates and build a safety‑focused culture at our operating sites. You will lead hands‑on training, drive‑alongs, and classroom sessions to ensure associates deliver orders safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 participants, including in‑station sessions and drive‑alongs.
• Create Learning App users and assign Day 0 onboarding training; follow up on Day 1 assignments.
• Partner with Delivery Service Partners, Operations Managers, Area Managers, and Learning Teams to coordinate and measure training activities.
• Conduct coaching sessions, participate in DA stand‑ups, and provide timely reporting on training completion, compliance, safety, and maintenance.
• Educate and audit driver safety standards, track on‑road performance, and identify re‑training opportunities.
• Support translation of training materials and ensure training content aligns with safety, quality, and legal procedures.

Required profile

• Passion for mentoring and comfortable teaching large groups.
• Hands‑on training approach with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to find answers, and ability to lead by example.
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts up to 12 hours.
