Duct Installation Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Duct Man to install, fabricate, assemble, and repair duct systems for oil and gas facilities. The role involves hands‑on work in challenging environments, ensuring ductwork meets all technical and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, fabricate, assemble, and repair duct systems in oil and gas projects.
• Measure, cut, and layout ducts to required dimensions using appropriate tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installations.
• Connect seams, joints, and sealing materials to create complete ductwork.
• Inspect ducts for damages, leaks, or defects and perform necessary repairs.
• Apply proper insulation to duct systems for efficiency and safety.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols, especially in confined spaces and high‑pressure environments.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians, welders, and engineers to complete projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in duct installation, HVAC, or related field is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of ductwork installation experience, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry.
• Willingness to work in remote locations, including offshore or desert sites.
• Strong problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
