Duty Engineer – Hospitality Maintenance

About the role

Join the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah team as a Duty Engineer and ensure the hotel’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems operate flawlessly. You will play a key part in delivering safe, comfortable and memorable experiences for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and operation of all hotel mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to guarantee safety and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to engineering service calls, minimizing guest disruption.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Support training initiatives and foster a positive team atmosphere.
• Assist with engineering budget management and cost‑effective operations.
• Test fire prevention systems regularly and supervise daily maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate contractor and service provider work, ensuring quality and contract compliance.
