Duty Manager ECD Center

About the role

The Duty Manager ECD Center ensures efficient airport security, crisis management, and operational support. Acting as the primary liaison with government authorities, airlines and other stakeholders, the role maintains smooth airport operations and compliance with aviation security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for governmental bodies such as the ICP, National Guard, law‑enforcement and regulatory agencies.
• Manage AVSEC activities, including issuing airport passes, handling inadmissible passengers and reviewing security documents for compliance.
• Coordinate VIP movements, official delegations, repatriation missions and special visits with internal and external partners.
• Lead crisis operations, acting as the focal point for the Abu Dhabi Crisis Management Centre and supporting all phases of crisis management.
• Handle public‑health alerts, disease‑outbreak responses and support case coordination.
• Facilitate communication during irregular operations, large‑scale disruptions and national‑level alerts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in airport security, AVSEC procedures and crisis management.
• Strong knowledge of GCAA directives, civil aviation regulations and government liaison protocols.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders under pressure and ensure timely information flow.
