Duty Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Duty Manager ensures smooth front‑desk operations, guest check‑ins, billing and security procedures at Le Meridien Dubai, acting as the primary point of contact for guests and staff during each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Enter Marriott Rewards data, ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs and charge authorizations while balancing receipts.
• Compile and review daily reports, cashier and closing logs, and maintain contingency lists.
• Secure cash drawers at the start and end of each shift and manage bank drops.
• Notify Loss Prevention or Security of any theft reports or suspicious activity.
• Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling and motivating team members.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related hospitality work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
