Early Years Teacher (EYFS) – Nursery

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Early Years teacher to join Emirates British Nursery, part of GMG, in Dubai. The role involves delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and supporting children’s physical, emotional and educational development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver educational activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
• Promote independent learning and inclusion, adapting activities to meet diverse needs.
• Monitor, assess and record each child’s progress using the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• Prepare reports on children’s development and participate in assessments.
• Maintain high standards of care, health, safety and security within the nursery.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• University degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, plus a Level III vocational certificate, OR a high school diploma with a Level III vocational certificate and at least two years’ experience.
• Native‑level proficiency in English.
• Currently residing in Dubai or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Ability to assess and document child development.
