Echocardiographer

About the role

The Echocardiographer will join NMC Healthcare’s non‑invasive cardiac lab in Dubai, providing diagnostic imaging services to patients of all ages. This full‑time position involves direct patient care, equipment operation, and collaboration with cardiologists.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 2D echocardiograms and treadmill (TMT) tests with proficiency.
• Manage ordering and inventory of lab equipment and supplies.
• Serve as the liaison between patients and cardiologists during imaging procedures.
• Handle general office duties such as answering phones, scheduling, filing, and maintaining patient records.
• Participate in training of new personnel and ensure continuous professional development.
• Adhere to DHA regulations, Joint Commission International standards, and other international guidelines.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Care Technology program with a minimum 6‑month internship.
• Current professional license in the country of origin and a valid DHA license for the UAE.
• At least two years of recent experience as a Cardiac Technologist.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a group practice within an industrial environment.
