Echocardiographer

About the role

The Echocardiographer is responsible for performing cardiology non‑invasive exams at a technical level, operating equipment such as TMT, Echo and Holter, and delivering patient care across all age groups.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 2D Echo and TMT, demonstrating competency and proficiency with equipment in the non‑invasive lab.
• Participate in ordering and inventory of equipment and supplies for the non‑invasive lab.
• Deliver patient care for all age groups while using diagnostic imaging equipment and act as a liaison between the patient and the cardiologist.
• Perform general office duties including answering phones, scheduling, filing, and maintaining patient records.
• Actively participate in the training of other personnel.
• Maintain current cardiology skills through continuing education, department meetings and related classes.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited school of Cardiac Care Technology.
• Six months internship in Cardiac Care Technology.
• Current license in country of origin with DHA license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Two years recent related work experience as a Cardiac Technician.
• Excellent command of oral and written English (Arabic advantageous).
• Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial environment.
