About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail is seeking an outstanding Economics Teacher to join its high‑performing team from January 2027. The role focuses on delivering the British National Curriculum to GCSE and A‑Level students while contributing to the school’s vision of limitless learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Economics lessons in line with the British curriculum.
• Maintain high academic standards and support students to exceed UK national averages.
• Collaborate with the teaching team and participate in evidence‑informed professional development programmes.
• Contribute to the school’s cognitive‑science driven approach and share best practices.

Required profile

• Hold a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent qualification in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Demonstrated exceptional subject knowledge and a proven record of outstanding teaching.
• Experience working within a high‑performing teaching team.
