E&I Site Engineer – Construction

About the role

Archirodon Group N.V, a leading international EPC contractor, is seeking an experienced E&I Site Engineer for its Abu Dhabi operations. The role involves overseeing electrical and instrumentation installations on complex oil & gas projects while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise E&I installation activities including cabling, instrumentation, equipment mounting and testing.
• Review and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and datasheets.
• Coordinate with contractors and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC procedures.
• Monitor daily progress, prepare site reports and resolve technical issues.
• Support commissioning and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, ADNOC experience highly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of E&I installation practices and standards (IEC, NEC, API).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications.
• Experience with cable laying, terminations and loop checking.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software.
