Electrical Commissioning Supervisor – Offshore, WHT & Subsea

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Supervisor for offshore projects in Abu Dhabi, covering Wellhead Towers, subsea cable and pipeline developments, and brownfield modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical pre‑commissioning, commissioning, energisation, testing and hand‑over activities on offshore platforms, WHTs, subsea systems and brownfield facilities.
• Ensure compliance with approved procedures, HSE, quality and permit‑to‑work requirements while monitoring progress and workforce productivity.
• Coordinate electrical testing, continuity, insulation and functional verification, and support cable termination verification.
• Report progress, issues and risks to the Commissioning Engineer or Lead and escalate technical matters when required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years on offshore projects, with hands‑on commissioning and startup exposure.
• Previous experience with PMC/EPC environments and preferably ADNOC offshore projects.
