Electrical Delivery Engineer – Substation & Power Transmission

About the role

The Program Delivery Assistant Engineer (Electrical) will report to the Project Delivery Managers and oversee the execution and delivery of the TRANSCO‑NEXUS project, focusing on construction, commissioning and hand‑over of substations, gid‑stations, STATCOM and overhead lines. This PMC role coordinates multiple supervision consultants and EPC contractors from project inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day on‑site activities, schedules and performance across construction, commissioning and hand‑over phases.
• Lead planning, execution and delivery of the TRANSCO‑NEXUS project, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines and budget.
• Coordinate EPC and supervision consultants, manage information flow between field and office, and prepare regular progress reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power transmission construction, preferably in a PMC, supervision consultant or EPC role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software and tools for scheduling and resource management.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Expertise in electrical engineering principles related to power transmission and distribution.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations and best practices for power transmission and distribution.
