Electrical Design Engineer – EPLAN (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specialized in EPLAN to create and document electrical panel designs for our manufacturing projects. The role involves close collaboration with project, procurement and production teams to ensure compliant and efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, control panels and wiring diagrams using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Prepare bills of materials, cable schedules, terminal diagrams and panel layouts.
• Develop PLC drawings, single‑line diagrams and control circuits.
• Coordinate with project, procurement and production teams throughout the design lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC standards and specific project requirements.
• Modify and update drawings as project needs evolve.
• Support panel assembly, factory acceptance testing (FAT) and commissioning activities.
• Maintain accurate drawing revisions and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of electrical design experience, preferably in low‑voltage switchgear manufacturing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with EPLAN Electric P8.
• Good knowledge of control circuits, power distribution and protection systems.
• Familiarity with PLC systems such as Siemens, Schneider or ABB.
• Experience in MCC, PCC and control‑panel design is preferred.
• Knowledge of IEC 61439 and other relevant standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
