Electrical Engineering Manager

About the role

The Electrical Engineering Manager will supervise multiple proposals and projects, ensuring technical excellence, quality, and efficient use of resources. The role involves leading a team of electrical engineers, coordinating recruitment, and acting as a key liaison with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise 1‑4 proposals and 1‑3 projects, providing technical and managerial support.
• Coordinate manpower recruitment, conduct technical interviews, and ensure adequate staffing.
• Develop and enforce company electrical standards and quality procedures.
• Lead internal quality audits, peer reviews, and design reviews.
• Interface with clients, PEM, and global engineering centres on technical issues.
• Support project control, construction, commissioning, and risk/reward studies.
• Assist Head of Department with manpower planning, standards development, and training needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of detailed design experience, preferably in consultancy or EPC for petrochemical/oil‑gas.
• At least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, BS, IEEE, API standards and ability to interpret international codes.
