Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector – Water Infrastructure

About the role

Stantec is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Inspector for its water infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that all electrical, instrumentation, control and automation works are performed to the highest standards and comply with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with clients and contractors to verify project requirements and prepare inspection reports and site records.
• Inspect construction labour and subcontracted tasks, identify non‑conforming works and generate corrective action reports.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and perform basic design calculations.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies, site investigations and liaise with remote teams to support project delivery.
• Ensure safe work practices and adherence to Stantec’s quality and core value systems.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8–10 years of construction supervision experience on water pumping station projects.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting.
