About the role
The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician will lead a team of electricians, planning and organizing daily maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation of high‑voltage equipment in an oil‑and‑gas environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare daily task logs and monitor progress of electricians.
- Develop weekly schedules for upcoming maintenance work.
- Isolate high‑voltage breakers (3.3 kV & 11 kV) for preventive maintenance.
- Update engineering drawings to reflect plant changes.
- Conduct technical analysis of bid tabs and support vendor oversight.
- Implement departmental policies, ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance.
Required profile
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive electrical maintenance experience, preferably in oil & gas.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage high‑voltage systems.
Required skills
- High‑voltage isolation and maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and decision‑making.
- Technical drawing updates.
- Bid analysis and vendor coordination.
