Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join Engineering Cluster. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of low‑voltage electrical distribution networks, lighting, power circuits and building services across commercial and industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LV distribution networks, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, MCCs, control panels and power circuits.
• Inspect, maintain and repair lighting systems, emergency lighting, power outlets, isolators, switches and related accessories.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, replace defective circuit breakers, contactors, relays, timers, switches and cables.
• Support electrical systems for HVAC, pumps, motors, elevators, generators, ATS panels, UPS and capacitor banks.
• Carry out electrical installations including cable pulling, termination, conduit and equipment connections.
• Follow safety procedures, LOTO, permit‑to‑work and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.

Required profile

• ITI, Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant trade certification for electrical maintenance work.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within facilities management, commercial buildings or industrial environments.
• Experience with LV electrical systems and building services maintenance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of low‑voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers and phase sequence meters.
• Experience maintaining HVAC, generator, UPS and emergency power systems.
