Electrician – Al Hamra (Ras Al Khaimah)

About the role

The Ritz‑Carlton Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a qualified electrician to join its facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems throughout the hotel, ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair malfunctioning tools, equipment and electrical systems, including generators and emergency lighting.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other components, and use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring and fixtures based on job specifications and code requirements; read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and manage inventory of parts and supplies.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational school degree in electrical trades.
• Minimum two years of relevant electrician experience.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring installation and repair.
• Use of testing equipment (ohmmeter, voltmeter, oscilloscope).
• Interpretation of blueprints and schematics.
