About the role
We are seeking an Electrician to join the Engineering Department at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi. The role involves operating, maintaining and repairing the hotel's electrical systems to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems in accordance with hotel standards.
- Carry out preventive and routine equipment maintenance.
- Respond to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes.
- Maintain a clean and tidy appearance and keep workshop areas orderly.
- Observe safety standards and support safe working conditions.
Required profile
- Previous experience as an electrician, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Diploma/ITI Certificate in Electrical or equivalent technical qualification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, control panels and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints and manuals.
