Electroplating Engineer

About the role

The Electroplating Engineer is responsible for managing, optimizing, and controlling electroplating processes to ensure consistent product quality, process efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role supports increased production demand and ensures reliable surface treatment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control electroplating processes including bath chemistry, current density, temperature, and coating thickness.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot plating defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct regular analysis of plating baths and ensure timely replenishment and maintenance.
• Optimize processes to improve productivity, reduce rejections, and minimize chemical consumption.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to resolve process issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Support audits, documentation, and process standardization activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, metallurgical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in electroplating or surface‑treatment operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electroplating processes, chemicals, and quality control methods.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance standards.
• Good problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
