About the role
We are seeking an experienced Elevator / Escalator Inspector to ensure the safe operation of vertical transportation systems in Abu Dhabi. The role involves conducting inspections, reporting findings, and coordinating corrective actions.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of elevators and escalators to verify compliance with UAE safety regulations and industry standards.
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for repairs, improvements, and quality assurance.
- Monitor installation and maintenance work to ensure safety compliance.
- Investigate incidents or malfunctions and provide technical recommendations.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in elevator or escalator inspection, maintenance, or a related field.
- Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Required skills
- Technical knowledge of elevator and escalator systems.
- Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and inspection procedures.
- Ability to identify technical faults and propose solutions.
- Proficient reporting and documentation skills.
