Embryo Transfer Specialist (Camel Reproduction)

About the role

Micah Solutions FZE is recruiting, on behalf of a well-established camel veterinary and breeding clinic in Abu Dhabi, an experienced Embryo Transfer Specialist for camel reproduction. The clinic is known for advanced embryo transfer and reproductive medicine services, and the role suits a veterinarian with hands-on experience in camel embryo transfer, reproductive ultrasound, donor and recipient management and fertility case follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Perform embryo transfer procedures in camels, from donor assessment and hormone stimulation through embryo flushing and transfer to synchronized recipients
• Use ultrasonography to examine donors and recipients, assessing uterine condition and ovulation status
• Monitor donor and recipient cycles, including follicular development, superovulation response and post-transfer pregnancy progress
• Evaluate and grade embryos and apply transfer protocols to maximize implantation
• Assist in diagnosing and treating camel infertility with the reproductive and clinical team
• Maintain detailed clinical records of ET cycles, examinations, pregnancies and outcomes
• Follow clinic SOPs, animal welfare standards, biosecurity and UAE veterinary regulations
• Work with clinic management, veterinarians, technicians and handlers to ensure smooth case flow and a good client experience

Required profile

• Veterinary degree (DVM / BVSc or equivalent)
• Proven experience in camel reproduction and embryo transfer, or large animal ET (camels, cattle or equines); regional postings typically require at least 2-3 years of practical ET experience
• Good knowledge of embryo grading, recipient selection and post-transfer monitoring
• Professional communication in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Willingness to work in a field/clinic setting in Abu Dhabi with flexibility during the breeding season
