Endocrinology Specialist

About the role

The NMC Group is seeking an Endocrinology Specialist to join its Endocrinology Clinic in Al Ain. The role involves comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with hormonal disorders, ensuring high‑quality clinical care from consultation through treatment planning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient endocrine consultations, assessing and treating hormonal diseases.
• Perform dynamic hormonal tests and other endocrine procedures as required.
• Offer after‑hours on‑call emergency coverage for endocrine emergencies.
• Supervise and educate nursing staff, technicians, and patients on endocrine care.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities such as morbidity‑mortality conferences, peer reviews, audits, and chart reviews.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical governance and risk‑management standards.
• Undertake additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Endocrinology.
• At least 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience in endocrine practice.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and ethical clinical practice.
