About the role
Linklaters’ Re:link platform is seeking experienced energy and infrastructure contract lawyers for interim, full‑time assignments in the United Arab Emirates. The role typically lasts an initial six‑month period and involves supporting Linklaters’ clients on‑site in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to clients across sectors such as power, water, hydrogen, refining, petrochemicals, oil & gas, PPP/PFI, infrastructure, mining and minerals.
- Work closely with client teams on‑site, delivering high‑quality legal support for construction, project development and project finance matters.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and related documentation.
Required profile
- Strong background in energy and infrastructure law gained at a top‑tier law firm or through equivalent in‑house/secondment experience (recent in‑house work is a plus).
- Legal right to work in the UAE and a current practising certificate.
- Available to start at short notice.
